From the very beginning of my career, I have been genuinely interested in the topics related to mechanical engineering, supported by the application of electronic equipment, computer simulation, and analysis methods. I hold a magister inżynier (MSc in Eng. equiv.) degree in Mechanical Engineering and magister inżynier (MSc in Eng. equiv.) degree in Electronics. Both were awarded by Lodz University of Technology, in 1985 and 1987 respectively. Moreover, I received the main award in the contest of Association of Polish Electrical Engineers for the best Master-level graduate project (MSc in Eng. in Electronics).Since 1995, based on my observations of the current industry trends in Poland, I have been involved in research and development of piping design and stress analysis. It has been later followed, since 1997, by the vibration control in piping systems, especially pressure pulsation attenuation in systems, e.g. in the natural gas compressor stations. The set-up goal was to improve existing and create new methods and algorithms allowing safe operation of piping systems. These days I share my experience with the engineering community. I teach students, technicians, and engineers, including notified bodies specialists, in piping systems design and analysis. In 2001 I completed the translation of professional stress analysis software AutoPIPE into Polish (software GUI, user guides as well as tutorials and other references) and published a book to support engineers in gaining knowledge on piping stress analysis.
In 2002 I started cooperation with Bentley Systems. Since then I have arranged and completed numerous implementations of Bentley products in Poland. It is worth mentioning that I translated and had been supervising translation of programs like AutoPIPE and AutoPIPE Vessel into Polish. In case of AutoPIPE it was a huge project as I translated GUI, Tutorial and full Help system (hundreds of topics). This project has been lately (in 2017) transferred, after many years of successful updates and upgrades, to some other teams due to internal Bentley Systems localization team policy, so starting from AutoPIPE 11 CONNECT Edition don't blame me for linguistic problems with Polish AutoPIPE :-) .
In 2003 I began my PhD research at the Institute of Turbomachinery at Lodz University of Technology. The topic of my PhD dissertation, awarded with honors in 2008, reads: "Influence of vibroacoustic phenomena on dynamics of industrial piping systems". Since then I have completed successfully tenths industrial projects and improved practical methods of pressure pulsation attenuation and vibration reduction in reciprocating gas compressors plants.
