ORD Properties Menu "no content to display"

Hi there, I'm using OpenRoads Designer. For some reason, when I have the properties menu docked it'll be working just fine. However, if I leave the properties palette docked and open a different .DGN, the properties menu will then display "no content to display" when I select an element to display the properties of. I've tried to close the pallet and re-open the properties menu, as well as docking the menu to all a bunch of locations on the screen, and lastly un-docking the menu altogether. It seems that no matter what, the same message displays no matter what type of element I select (include referenced objects).

Does anyone have a fix for this? I just have to close ORD and re-launch the software, but I'd rather not have to do that every time I want to switch between files.

Cross Section Report - Gradebook - ORD 2021 Release 2 Update 10

Hi there! Before hand, I appreciate the help, it's amazing to see the answers you all come up with.

I have run a corridor and am working on creating a cross section gradebook report. I've created a cross section named boundary, but when I run the report, the gradebook comes up empty. Am I doing something wrong there?

Does "persist snap" working with any object?

Hi everyone

When I open Openroads, I see the persist snap is always turned on. I concern the "persist snap" will affect any object I draw.

Therefore, I always turn it off after opening software, that's annoying.

Could you please let me know which type of object that "persist snap" is working and affecting accordingly?

Save Level Display

Hi there,

Is there a good way to save your multiple level display "settings" to a DGN? In this situation I have a set of levels that I want displayed when my designers are in the file, a set of levels that we want to display when the design reviewers are in the file, and a set of levels that we want displayed when the drafters are using the file. Can I save each of these level displays so that they can select them as a saved state or something of the sort?

I'm using OpenRoads Designer CE 2021 Release 2

Creating gINT Database

Hi there,

My only exposure to the gINT is the geotech module of OpenRoads Designer creating simple borehole information for roadways. In the past I imported this information from a simple excel spreadsheet. I see that option is now gone. What is the best way to create a database that OpenRoads can import? I attached the simple information I am trying to display.

FYI, I'm using OpenRoads Designer CE 2021 Release 2communities.bentley.com/.../gint_2D00_Test.xlsx

Cut Fill Volumes

I created the Cut - Fill Volumes from "Home> Civil Analysis > Create Cut Fill Volumes" and then have made changes to the vertical profile of the alignment, but the Cut/ Fill sections which are visible in the XS drawing is the one before the changes made to the Vertical profile of the alignment. Can anyone suggest how to delete the Cut / Fill analysis initially carried out. So that I can compute the new cut fill analysis.

Intersection Sight Distance

Is there an intersection sight distance tool in ORD Connect Edition 2021 R2? I wasn't seeing any forum posts that are recent, but maybe I was missing it. I'd seen some discussion on a "Junction Visibility Analysis". Profile Label Issue

Hi there, I have an issue where my profile annotation vertical curve length isn't matching the design. Is this a rounding issue in my text favorite? As you can see below, the annotation is saying the V.C. = 250.01, but the design table shows a V.C. = 250.0000

Compare DGNlibs

Hi there,

I am using ORD CE 2021 Release 2. I recently received an updated DGNLib from a client. However, I have made some additions to the previous DGNLib that they had provided. Is there a way for me to compare the two DGNLib files? Maybe only import new levels, element templates, feature definitions, etc.?

OpenRoads Plan Annotation Fields

Hi there, I'm using ORD Design CE - 2021 Release 1 Update 10. I'm typically a civil engineer designing in ORD who is helping with drafting, so I don't have a lot of knowledge on the annotation side of things.

When I'm creating a text favorite, there is not a field type for "OpenRoads Plan Annotation Fields". Was that removed in an update?

If it was removed, or even if it wasn't. Does anyone have some guidance for creating plan view labels for my alignment design speed, and superelevation?

ORD: MDL Loader: Could not load application ustnvba

I was trying to load AutoTurn into Bentley ORD Connect Edition 2019 R2. I had changed the configuration variables:

MS_MDL                             > C:\Program Files\Transoft Solutions\AutoTURN 10
MS_CMDTABLE_LOAD     > atcn
MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST         > C:\Program Files\Transoft Solutions\AutoTURN 10\AutoTURN.dgnlib

Now, when I go top launch ORD, a DOS screen pops up with the following message. After the message, ORD crashing after the splash screen. Is there a fix?

Corridor Template 3D Display

Hi there,

I am having an issue where my corridor templates are not displaying how I am intending. What are the settings that control the display? Do I need to get some of these components materials defined in the Standards Library? As you can see below, my roads are showing materials fine, however, I modified my template for my roundabout, and somewhere in there I'm creating an issue.

I also notice that my components have went white when I go to select a new template for the corridor. Even after I apply a new feature definition to the component (TC_CutSlope).

I'm guessing this is illustrating my issue. I just need to know where the settings are to modify/add the display of components.

End Area Volume Report - Shrink/Swell Factor

Hi there, I'm running an End Area Volume Report using a named boundary group of cross-sections. In the Volumes report that I am using it lists the shrink/swell factor, however, I can't find anywhere to actually set the factor. Is there a command somewhere that I am missing? As shown below, I would simply like to apply a 20% shrinkage to the fill quantity.

I'm using: OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition - 2019 Release 2 Update 7 - Version 10.07.03.18
