I have been using inroads on my projects and I would like to migrate to openrail.

1. I would like to check if the utility presented in the learning path below can used to migrate preferences from inroads to openrail

2. How much effort is required to set up openrail to be able to create deliverables similar to what we create with inroads?

Cant in attached dgn is not selected when I assign cant to corridor

In OpenRail Designer-2021 Release 1 update 10 version 10.10.01.03, I am working on the training set for Quick Start Rail Modeling. When I open the "Corridor-MainLine.dgn" file, I am unable to select the Cant I created in the "Rail_Geometry.dgn" file.

The program displays a pop-up message stating, "The element selected is not valid for this tool."

I would like to know if the program recognizes a CANT in an attached DGN file.

Additionally, I suspect that the rail is not being displayed in the dynamic cross sections because the Cant features are not being recognized.

Cross section navigator is not loading the Named Boundary Group

The cross section Navigator is not loading the named boundary group when I try to use it.

I am using Openrail Designer CE-2021 Release 1 update 10.

Below is a screenshot showing I am able to cut cross sections and have the Named boundary group.

NEW the above last link also includes a book of DDD examples I developed for Railway Alignment Protoyping (plus a few othe bits 'n' pieces), there are several hundred hours work in there (plus another few hundred I had to remove before posting publicly), so please don't expect them to be 'suitable for beginners' - they really are only for anyone with a deep interest. In fact they could use a half hour's video just going through basic usage and combination. Having said that, if anyone is interested enough to dive in, please feel free to contact me with questions or comments.

Would it be possible to get training material on how to use plan and profile generator tools & quantity estimate tools in In-rail?

I read in the product manual that if they are used well, they can save time
