&lt;p&gt;I have many .3mx files that I generated years ago in ContextCapture - however, the original photos that created them have been lost. I know that you can generate .stl files, but is there a way to convert .3mx files to .stl? I have not found any software that can do this.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have been trying to create 3D models from pictures that I have taken of termite mounds. One problem that I think I have is that the lighting was highly variable, so I don&amp;#39;t know how much that will effect them.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Here is what it should look like:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;But ContextCapture is producing this sort of result:&lt;/p&gt;
