So I'm trying to make a precipitation table with discharge function.

The unit of precipitation in the data I have is "mm/day" but "m3/day" in the discharge function.

Could you please advise what do I have to do?

resetting displacements of separate elements

When activating plate elementes in a phase, that has some previous deformations, the recently activated plate elemets will take the deformations from the surrounding soil elements, which is incorrect, because at the moment of the installation, the structure should have (virtually) zero displacements. This is even more obvious in analyses with several plate elements activated at different stages (e.g. PLAXIS 2D Tutorial 07: Excavation of an NATM tunnel https://www.plaxis.com/support/tutorials/2d-tutorial-excavation-of-an-natm-tunnel/). The displacements of tunnel lining in this tutorial are incorrect, because they also contain the pre-deformations, that is the deformations, which occured before the lining was installed.

Do you have in your plan to implement some sort of setting, to reset displacements of individual elements only (similar to "Apply stregth reduction" checkbox in Safety analysis)?

Hello,

I made plates to model a retaining wall. Dark blue and light blue are plates, which have different material sets each other.

After meshing, I can see a part opened as the above screen shot... How come it happened? I can't find any opening in Soil & Structures tab, but only can see it after meshing.

Would it affect calculation? Please advise... Thanks!

Zero water pressure but Permeable

[PLAXIS 2D]

To set zero water pressure, i apply 'dry' of water condition. However, 'dry' option will make no seepage.

I want to apply zero water pressure for a certain soil layer and make the layer permeable to consider seepage as well.
