ContextCapture v19.45 Crashes During Processing

I recently updated my version of ContextCapture to v19.45 from v17. Since the update, whenever I try to process a model, the entire computer freezes/crashes - forcing me to have to restart the computer. I know that this isn't a problem with my computer because I am able to process the same data sets in other photogrammetry software just fine. Is anyone else having similar issues? Is this a known bug that is addressed in the v20 update?

Context Capture won't recover from an error

I am running CC version 20 and have run a couple of jobs successfully since the update.

I submitted a job yesterday that crashed overnight. The engine started to run but stopped after about 30 minutes (I was expecting it to take 6 hours) and CC itself failed.

I rebooted the machine but CC failed after the first screen

The error message says "Failed to load project file"

The further particulars say "Failed to load block 'c/........\Project files\Block_1032.bin'

Looking at the directory structure there is a Block 1031 and a Block 1033 but no Block 1032.

I reinstalled CC but it still gives the same error message.

HELP!!!

Help with importing masks

I have an problem with loading photos from *.xls/*.xlsx. Mainly I have problem with mask, because according to help section:

Masks are associated to input photographs through their file name:

Associate a mask to one photo: for a photo named "fileName.ext", the mask file must be named "fileName_mask.tif" and placed in the same directory as the corresponding photo.
Example: for a photograph "IMG0002564.jpg", the corresponding mask should be "IMG0002564_mask.tif

I have the same mask name as orginal photo name with added "_mask" in directory with photos but mask isn't loading possibility. Is there any possibility to load photos form *.xls/*.xlsx with auto-loading all mask to photos what are created?

ContextCapture - Combining Photos and Point Clouds

Hello,

Does anyone have a workflow recommendation for combining photographs with point cloud data? I'm trying to make a reconstruction of a room using photos to capture the details and the point cloud will help with the plain white walls. I am using a basic DSLR camera and a FARO Focus scanner. Does everything need to be geo-referenced for me to be able to combine the data? If so, is there a link where I can learn how to do that? Right now, after I do the aerotriangulation on the photos and then import the scans as .e57 files, the program no longer gives me the option to create a reconstruction or to run another aerotriangulation using the scans as a reference.

ContextCapture Engine freezing

Hello, I know that in the user manual it is stated that switching users will cause the engine to fail. However it isn't mentioned anywhere if locking Windows will cause any issues. I have tried to process datasets overnight on my computer and it would seem that sometime after Windows locks the computer due to inactivity, that the computer will actually totally freeze/lock up and will become unresponsive. The only solution at that point is to do a hard reset on the computer. I am able to process the job if I keep the computer from becoming idle for too long, but this defeats the point of being able to process jobs overnight or remotely. I am looking at installing the engine on a remote computer, but since it will be remote, I want to make sure that this does not continue to be a concern whenever Windows locks the computer. I know that on my computer (and likely the remote computer that I will be using), there are certain features that are managed by my site administrators and even though I have admin rights, I am unable to make certain changes. This is one reason I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone has encountered this or knows how I can prevent it from happening in the future.
