I have an issue I'm sure many would have come across:

On a multiple plot (log template), I have several columns of data. I apply an output condition on each data record (like the soil unit check on depth). The condition is then checked for each column and it takes ages to produce the output. Would there exist a trick to allow doing the check only once (per table of course)?

If not, that would be great in a future version of gINT (like having dependant columns like for tables...)!

I hope it makes sense!

The ABBR_LIST field in the UK AGS Transfer Format is used so that the Abbreviations used within the complete file can be attributed to a specific organisation or company. Ideally we would like to be able to identify within the file which abbreviations are created by our company, and which ones are derived from the "Approved" codes on the AGS website.

When exporting from gINT it appears to create ABBR_CODE and the ABBR_DESC. This is created from the Code and Description Fields in the corresponding Library Table.

Looking at the gINT Std AGS4 to AGS4.gcx file there are several references to the ABBR_LIST field but all of the tables are set to <<OMIT>> (AGS_FIELD_GEOLOGIC_CODE, AGS_FIELD_GEOLOGIC_CODE2 and ABBR)

Some of the tables in the AGS4 template provided with gINT have the field "Source" (ABBR_LIST) but not all do.

Exactly how does gINT create this information in the AGS file if the tables are set to <<OMIT>> and why does the ABBR_LIST not populate, even for those Library tables that do include the Souce (ABBR_LIST) field?

Filter on Graphs

Hi,

I have a graph to display Particle size curves, whose Key Set is set to "PointID,Depth".

It works very well until I try to apply a filter on the POINT table at output time (on LOCA_CLST for example). Then I always get a "... return no data" message. I also tried to filter within the report (<<IIf()>> statement)...

Is it because the filter should only apply to the "GRAT" table (I noticed it appeared by default in the filter dialog)?

In that case, would there be a better way than adding a new field in GRAT (or GRAG) automatically filled by lookup to the POINT table field...?
