I have written a routine to generate a shape from a series of points and then utilize the shape to define a fence from element.

I would like to process the fence in two separate routines one that will clip normal element type like Lines, line strings etc. that intersect the fence but ignore cells that may intersect. The second pass will change the fence settings to Overlap so I can attach an item type schema to the cells and normal element types.

The problem I am having is that when I use Fence clip it is also clipping my cells. Is there a programmatic way of filtering what the fence interacts with/ignores similar to a scan Criteria?

Any suggestions?

Testing an upgrade to OpenBuildings Designer Connect Update 7 from OpenBuildings Designer Connect Update 3

...in Update 3 we had a custom ribbon button that invoked the following key-in

powerselector mode new;powerselector single;choose element;xy=-0.1583,-0.0354;xy=-0.1583,-0.0354

which simulated a double click on an embedded Excel OLE object and resulted in opening the embedded Excel spreadsheet in Excel. The coordinates displayed represent the low range bottom corner of the OLE Object.

after moving our custom ribbon button into Update 7 it is no longer working and neither is trying to perform this via the key-in dialog. However if we double-click via the mouse the OLE object it opens just fine. I have included a small mp4 displaying the behavior in Update 3

Is there a new way for me to key-in a double-click?

Thanks in advance
Keith

Attachments myAtts;

myAtts = app.ActiveModelReference.Attachments;

foreach (Attachment myAttTemp in myAtts)

{

myAttTemp.GlobalLineStyleScale = MsdGlobalLineStyleScale.Reference;

myAttTemp.Rewrite();

}

}

In the code snippet provided we are trying to set the linestyle scale to "Reference" yet the Attachment Properties dialog is setting to "Master * Reference".

If we try setting to "Both" in the code it sets the dialog to "Reference".

It appears that the enumerator in the API is out of sync with the attachment properties dialog Global Linestyle Scale dropdown. (zero based vs. one based???)

Any ideas on how I can programmatically fix?

I have a C# Addin tool that will both move and rotate selected elements as a single operation. It works well with a wide variety of element types (lines, shapes, cells etc.) but is throwing an error on ReferenceAttachment types.
