MICROSTATION SS4 PROFILE DOES NOT EXPORT TO NATIVE GPK

The natural ground profile of an alignment will not export to the native gpk. I have exported the alignment to the gpk without a problem. I have also opened the profile in another view and named the profile before attempting to export to native. What might be the cause of this issue? The gpk is not corrupt, I created a new gpk file and it still would not export.

Bentley Systems, Inc. has been working with the Mississippi Department of Transportation regarding the migration to Open Roads Technology and PowerGEOPAK 08.11.09.493 platform. (Note, this will apply to InRoads and MX as well). One of the things most impressive is what they have done with their Civil Cell Library. Below are a couple of links that will be extremely helpful for those of you beginning to migrate to the new technology and have begun to consider Civil Cells. The first link is a Demo / Q&A on a Ramp Exit Gore area they did. Towards the end of the video Keith also talks about some general tips he embraced during the development of their robust Civil Cell library in general. Also included is their latest workspace environment as well as their documentation page for the new technology. I know a lot of Agencies are currently in the process of developing workspaces. The environment MSDOT has created should give you some excellent ideas to consider. Note, as stated in the video, all of this is public domain and may be freely distributed.

Note, when selecting the FTP link choose cancel when prompted for a username and password and the file will then proceed to download.

Cannot plot in microstation SS3-Additional browser does not open after the print button is pressed

I have fenced in the border element and selected the plot configuration file as well as pen table. Once the print icon is pressed the additional browser does not display. I have checked all the views. Nothing opens or displays. I can print using the print organizer only. We have tested bentley and windows plot configuration files both specific to our projects and default files. None allows us to print. Has anyone ran into this issue? We are running microstation ss3 version 08.11.09.714 and geopak ss4 version 08.11.09.845.

Open Roads Vertical Profile Does Not Export to Native

Multiple horizontal alignments and vertical alignments are in one design file. All of the alignments and profiles export to native (gpk) except one profile. This happens in more than one file. The feature names are all under 15 characters with no special characters. I have tried renaming the problematic profile. I have also created a new gpk file, but it still does not export. I have deleted the alignment and profile and recreated them, but the profile does not export.

How to Set the Timezone for files created and checked-in projectwise

We noticed when creating or checking in a file in project wise the time is off by over 4 hours. Where do you modify the timezone for projectwise? We have offices located only in the US central time zone. The time is consistently off, so we believe it was set up with the wrong time zone.

SS3 Geopak - Export profile to native

Hi,

I desgned a profile in the roadway designer and have attempted to export the profile to native.

I follow the prompts, and everything appears to work, but when I check the gpk file no proile is found.

I see no error messages.
