Making progress now.
The first thing - I had a typo in my configuration file yesterday, which was one reason that it didn't work (_USTN_CUSTOM_CONFIGURATION did point to a non exisiting folder).
I have consolidated this information into this wiki.
Steve and Larry, solved the issue with Noel Page today, the issue was my relative elevation wasn't consistent between the different buildings.

Untick 'Use Working Units' in everyone's preferences, then you can set m as the default.
You could also check the Shared Folders/Open Files on the Server and close the open file.

What version of AECOsim Building Designer SS6 are you running... the latest version of AECOsim Building Designer SS6 is Update 1 08.11.09.866. FYI - the AECOsim Building Designer CONNECT Edition, Update 2 (10.02.00.35) is available.
That is from the CONNECT Edition help which has slightly more detail than SS6. The SS6 help section to refer to is Building Platform > Building Dynamic Views > Cached Dynamic Views.

The Advanced Space Label should show the Volume. It use a VBA to calculate the Volume as you see in the picture below
Did you use Extrude Shape to Slab Form tool? That has a Tolerance setting in it which will affect any faceting in curves.
