ORD - Duplicate Complex Elements from Corridor

Hi,

I updated the point names on some templates and after synchronizing the template, the corridor models correctly however the previous point name and complex element still exists in the drawing. So I'm left with multiple slope stake lines throughout the corridor. I've tried Process Corridor and that doesn't help. Any other ideas?

InRoads End Area Volumes Tool - how to access?

Hi,

I'm running InRoads SS2 and am wondering how I can make the InRoads End Area Volumes tool available from the Evaluation menu. Is it an add-on or something added in a more recent version of the software?

I need end area volumes for a specific station range to display on each respective profile sheet.

Nearmap to MicroStation (Jpg)

Hi,

I have a jpg nearmap export in US survey feet with a jgw file. When I attach the file the coordinates are slightly off from the jgw file. I've tried toggling all the settings to see if anything would work but no luck. This is specifically EPSG 2278. What would be causing the shift in the coordinates?

OpenRoads for Refuge Island and Curb Ramps

What is the best workflow for the latest version of ORD for a street retrofit that includes a refuge island/median and some curb ramp upgrades. There won't be a street reconstruction in this just a min sawcut out side the new civil works. Thanks!

ORD - Complex Redefine Troubleshooting

Is anyone having issues with complex redefine not working for certain alignments? I need to replace a tangent section with two sets of reverse curves at each end of the new segment. The arcs were drawn per tutorial videos, tangent and all. The complex redefine won't work, it keeps the original tangent section along with the new segment. Should I be looking at the alignment settings for the original line in the explorer window?

Given that ORD doesn't have alignment editing commands that InRoads has, it's critical for redefine to function.

Station Equation - Vertical Profile Adjust - InRoads SS2

Is there a way to ensure that vertical PI's hold the same location after a Station Equation is applied? As of now if adding an equation at say 10+00 bk and 10+50 ahd, the vertical after the equation would be off by that difference instead of holding the previous vertical station beyond the equation point. Has this always been something that is manual for the vertical?

Vertical Profile - Station Equation Letter Display

I have two station equations for an alignment and would like for the letters a and b not to display for the stations. Is this possible? If I was to drop station equation name, the vertical stations would be off.

ORD - Cross Section Annotation Inconsistent

Hi,

Is there a reason annotation works for some cross sections but not others even when the template point names are the same. When managing the annotation group for the cross sections, the points are highlighted in the preview. Some annotation displays but it's not consistent. Each of the side slopes is highlighted in the manage window as well but maybe 50% display.

Additionally, when you have multiple corridors, is it best to split up the named boundaries and cross section models by corridor?

Export Multiple Cross Sections to DWG Quickly

Hi,

I've figured out how to export one cross section to a DWG but the export process took 3 minutes and 10 seconds.

I have 190 cross sections that need to be converted to DWG but I don't really have 10 hours to do this.

I also don't really want to open each model and change visible edges to cached manually.

Is there a quicker way of doing this?

Can my cross sections be arrayed into one model so that cached visible edges can be applied to all 190 at the same time?

ORD - Connect - Dynamic Sections Blank

Are there any troubleshooting techniques for when a cross section goes blank except for the CL point? I have been working in the corridor file for a week or so. It doesn't seem like you can't delete previous section views and the sections display if the corridor dgn is referenced into another drawing.

Corridor Modeling Crash

I am experiencing a crash every time I try to assign a new template drop to a corridor. It's always worked before... no issues. The only thing I'm doing different is I'm using a existing terrain that was created from POD file from a mobile lidar scan. Could that file be the culprit? What are the recommendations as far as size of the existing terrain file? I'm using Windows 10, version 1803 and ORD Update 3. I've attached the project files.

OpenRoads Connect Corridors Update 2 to Update 3 now crashing

Hi,

I have a project broken into 3 corridors that I set up in Update 2. Since upgrading to Update 3 I cannot even add or change a corridor reference without the files crashing. I also cannot select the corridor without a crash. If corridor references, such as a edge of pavement line, are in a design base file what is the solution to these issues. For the reference that is no longer needed do you need to drop it from the corridor before deleting to avoid these ridiculous issues?

ORD Update 2 - Export Cross Sections

Hi,

Is there a clean method to exporting the cross sections generated in OpenRoads back to SS2 or SS4 so that those who haven't upgraded can use & interrogate the file? Why not have an additional function that would allow a snapshot of the cross sections to be put into a single model with no mess of nested references? As it stands, one would need to 'replicate' a complete design in SS2/SS4 in order to do clean sections. Sure you can open the Connect cross section file but you get the Civil3d data error and can only be read only which is useless for a sub needing to design off them.
