I have a multi level project 10 floors, and I'm trying to size the CWS, the CWS has 2 risers for each side of the building. Following the instructions to add floor connectors and vertical pipes I've successfully managed to connect one of the risers from ground to 10.

However when I come to connect the other riser ( which is only 6 floors) I get an error of no flow on level 2. I've successfully checked the systems by add in a system marker on each floor, they all size and check as I would expect.

I've followed previous advice given in other answers with regard to group deleting the riser and starting again, this produces the same result. I have tried connecting up the floors one at a time and checking the system and can successfully add up to and including the 2nd floor. however when I add the third floor it reports no flow on level 2 and highlights the riser area. I can't see any issues when checking the isometric view. I'm loathed to delete the services from this floor and replace with services from another floor as this will bugger up the one part of the system which is working.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks

Deleting pipes in CWS

Hi There,

I've created a project in CWS, it's a multi level site with 10 floors.

I added all floors, and drew the services on the first floor, it sized the pipes as I would have thought. I copied the services to the 2nd floor, but it didn't copy the system marker. I tried to add one and it can't find a pipe?

I went back to the first floor and now can't make alterations to the pipe system, I've tried deleting the pipe and size notes and group unfixing the pipes, none of this seems to help? I must be doing something really simple wrong but can'f for the life of me see what?

Also I've used a special outlet with a loading unit of 25 and max flow rate of 0.5l/s however when the system is sized the flowrate on the one outlet goes up to 1.5l/s and in some instances 2.5l/s I can't see why as there is only one outlet on the leg?

Many Thanks

I've created a project in Netsys CWS which is a multi level project. I closed the project and when i come to re open it I get the error above. I'm using windows path/ file method, and the project is in a location which isnt protected or write only.

The green tick is available and the window shows a project is there with the correct number of floors etc.

Have I set up the system wrong or am i doing something wrong??
