Clip the roadway corridor in the area of the bridge

Disadvantages

Terrain models for the entire corridor are not available for the clipped (bridge) area of the corridor

Leave a gap in the roadway corridor, where the bridge is located.

Disadvantage - OBM has no linear features to follow for deck constraints

Use a template with only the linear features representing the CL, EOP, EOS, etc. for the limits of the bridge

Disadvantage - How do you create a terrain model for the entire corridor if there's no pavement/surface on the bridge?

Are there other ways of accomplishing this that I haven't thought about?

Ask A Question I

Ask a question in a forum.

Overlay Component Cross Section Display

I'm having an issue with overlay components displayed in cross section. The component works as it should in the roadway designer, projecting to the surface at a depth of half an inch. However when I display the generated surface components in cross-sections, the overlay components do not show as being projected to the surface.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Attached is a screen shot of what I'm experiencing.

Thanks in advance for your help.
