last school attended during daytime was in Mechanical Engineering. Graduated as B.Sc. in 1980. After that worked as a Mechanical Draughtsman and later became Mechanical Designer. In 1982 started learning and using InterGraph's IGDS and was application manager for that program. Later also used MDDS and MEDS as well as Plant Design (not PDS). Trained colleagues using these programs. Started using MicroStation 3.3 in 1988 on DOS and on CLIX. Also started using MicroStation 3.6 on Apple Macintosh. Worked with MicroStation on HP-UX and SUN SPARC as well. Trained people using MicroStation on the mentioned platforms.
From 1981 - 1992 worked for Nevesbu B.V. in the Hague (Netherlands). A department in this company was called Logos. This department was separated in 1992 from Nevesbu and started working as Logos B.V. in Delft. Logos developed and marketed the applications: L/ISO (now known as PlantSpace Isometrics), Isometrics Extractor, SmartGlobe as well as many other customer specific applications and mdl's. Worked for Logos from 1992 until 2000, then went back to Nevesbu, where i was again application manager for MicroStation and for Catia (V4) on IBM Unix workstations. I also was one of the system administrators in that company (Windows 2000 Server)
Joined Bentley in August 2004, providing Technical Support (Hoofddorp, Netherlands) since.
