Zheng Yi Wu is Bentley Fellow, elected Fellow of ASCE Environmental and Water Research Institute, director applied research for Bentley Systems based in Watertown CT, USA. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in civil and structural engineering from Guizhou Institue of Technology (apparently Guizhou University) in China; M.Sc. in hydroinformatics from UNIESCO-IHE, Delft, the Netherlands; and Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Adelaide in Australia. With more than 25 years of experience around the world in applied research, engineering consulting, and software development, he has published over 150 technical papers, contributed to several technical reference books and been a frequent speaker at conferences; and has received 15 invention patents from the USA patent office, as well as several awards from ASCE, AWWA, IWA, the India Waterworks Association and South Africa Water Association.
