Although the input-ouput file seems to work fine, I am getting a lot of settlement due to dewatering at the model boundaries and it seems that the settlement trough covers the whole model and that the GWL is modified through out the whole model. According the flow theory no change in GWL and pore pressures takes place outside the hydraulic radius of the tunnel. (For the assigned permeability this is about 50 m). I am feeling that I am missing something so I would like to ask: Is there a special boundary condition I should use, to prevent this phenomenon ? I would like the GWL to remain stable (no modification) in pore pressures at model boundaries.
