&lt;p&gt;When creating a new file based on a word Template *.dotm or * dotx why is ProjectWise holding this extension it should changed to an *docx for example. Otherwise all documents are saved as templates and that&amp;#39;s not what we would like to see.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I also tried of course to use *.docx as a template but than I&amp;#39;ve got stuck on the &amp;quot;create data&amp;quot; because it&amp;#39;s referring to the date of creation of the template.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any suggestions on how to solve this?&lt;/p&gt;
