When I use a command chain as follows, the conduits direction cannot be change. How can I solve this?

I create a line going from point A to point B (direction from A to B).

Then I use the command "Extract Utilities from Graphic" command creating my nodes and conduits.

If I want to change the direction of the pipe, I type in "change direction" selecting my pipe. For a second or two, the pipe direction is change but is then rapidly changed back to the original direction. Can this be explained by the linkage between the pipe and the line it was created from? The linetype we use to represent the drainage pipes have arrows on it which should correspond to the flow direction, so these need to be correctly displayed on the drawings.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Regards,
