I&#39;m currently working on <span>Tutorial 16: Free vibration and earthquake analysis of a building but with a different acceleration time history</span>. I&#39;ve made sure to set all the parameters and boundary conditions exactly as specified in the Tutorial. I&#39;ve employed a free field boundary with a compliant base. When I view the output window, I notice that the displacement concentration at the corner of my model is higher than what I anticipated. According to my understanding, the displacement should ideally be zero at the last step, assuming baseline correction but again we still could see residual displacement.&nbsp;</p> <p>Interestingly, I encountered a similar problem in my project-specific model, which prompted me to attempt this tutorial. I&#39;ve included a figure below for reference.
