Bentle Support Team,

I got an problem while I am running the Highway Gore Area design with the new version ORD (10.11.00.115).

At the ramp gore area, we must force the ramp outer edge perpendicular with the inner edge. Thus, we use the function of Secondary Alignment to achieve it.

But in the new version, it is no issue if the template is simple. For instance, we created the top surface at beginning to run the supperelevation and point control. it looks fine. (see the snip 1)

After we developed the template to add more constraint and rules for the base and grading design, the issue comes up. the ramp outer edge lost association with the point control (supperelevation and Hor..). There is small discrepancy between the control what we expected. (see the snip 2)

If we turn off the function of the Secondary Alignment, the point control will bet back, the points will be associated with the point control properly. (see the snip 3)

the function of the Secondary Alignment has been used for the ramp gore area control normally. we don't have issue before.

I would appreciate it if you could take a look at my case any help us fix this problem. Thanks!

Best Regards,

I would be grateful for any advice on how to annotate the edge of pavement elevation in the plan and force the annotation to follow the corridor alignment station.

Please see the snapshot below. we can annotate the EOP elevation by "Feature Annotation" in SS4, also choose the corridor alignment to locate the annotation. But in ORD, we can create one "favorite text" and add this "favorite text" into the "annotation group" to annotate the feature line elevation (Z), but it always follows their own station (not the corridor alignment). I am just wondering is there any chance to annotate corridor feature lines elevation but following the corridor alignment station.

Best Regards,

We have cross-section annotation issue recently.

- Our ORD version is 2021 Release 1 Update 10
- We normally create one container file to attach the whole corridor model.
- We use the annotation group to define the cross-section points.
- We choose the points from the template in Annotation Manage - location dialogue box.
- it shows correctly in the section display but doesn't show properly in the cross-section.
- if we work on the corridor file, it is work. But don't annotate the other reference files.

I would more appreciate it if you can help me to solve this issue.

Something happened weird! Everything is working well two minutes ago, Just of a sudden, the sections disappeared in section view and the whole attached files show the X,Y,Z with strange text. (please see the snapshot below). I typed the commend of Geometry Dynamicsection Deletesveiw to get the sections back. But the attached files still don't show up.

I would more appreciate it if someone can help us solve this issue.

I am yet to look into this fully but is it possible to annotate 3D geometry created by a template drop?

I have assigned a feature definition to my road channel template point but currently, based on my understanding, element annotation is limited to civil geometry.

My EOP is defined with civil geometry in 2D space, the Z coordinate is unknown until an EOP point control is set on the template corridor. Once I set my point controls I can see the feature definition line in 3D space but how can I get those Z levels to assign themselves to the 2D EOP civil geometry? I guess it would be like using point controls to create profile lines???

If what I'm asking isn't clear I'll try again to explain.
