I want to ask about catchment delineation for Sewergems, When I add a specified terrain model with a specific boundary, When the road is for example curved, Triangles are added from outside that boundary by extrapolation and non required catchments areas are added to the delineated area, I do not want the terrain model to add elevations from outside my surface boundary.

For example, when I perform Trex for gravity elements, when some elements are outside the surface boundaries, Sometimes the Trex extrapolates the elevations for those nodes, I do not want that in catchments delineation.

Thank you very much.

Perforated Pipes and Pond storage Infiltration rate

We have proposed storm water pipes with perforations on Top half of the pipe periphery. The ground water table is below the pipe profile and with a minimum separation distance of 1.5m. The only source for infiltration is due to extensive landscaping water percolating into ground. How do I input an infiltration rate (say 10% of landscaping demand) along the SW pipe routing. Similarly, how do I model the ground water infiltration rate from pond storage with a separation distance of 1.5m between Pond bed and water table underneath it.

We have a Storm Drainage network with Soakaways scattered along the ROW and all interconnected with overflow pipes. The overflow lines are achieved with a control structure in the pipe line. However, I have modelled the network but at certain locations, the HGL seems peculiar which is running below the pipe invert and in V shape. The overflow connection is same as any other upstream/Downstream overflow pipes(Refer to screenshots below) where HGLs are running normal. Appreciate if anyone can elaborate this unusual

behavior of HGL.

My question is, if watergems allows to model the network with different peak factors based on increasing population from the farthest end to the pump station like it allows in SEWERGEMS with extreme flow factors? Also, it should be noted that my network is not looped and has branches with dead ends. Appreciate any sort of advice.

Ask A Question I

Ask a question in a forum.
