I am using the sheet index tool, and am trying to use text fields to display a sheet number for a sheet that is not the current model. I've tried to use the sheet index to link the sheet number I want to the text element, but after cycling through all the fields, I can't seem to find any that allow me to display properties of the linked model.

In short, I'd like a text to say "See Sh. No. 44" but have the 44 be dynamically updated and linked to a sheet model's position in the sheet index.

Is this something that is currently possible? Currently on 2020 R3.

Thanks

V8i Series 3 v08.11.09.578 How to create a tin on a wall that is leaning using DTM Tools?

I am creating a TIN from survey info but I have several walls that are leaning, so when it builds the triangles it builds from the closest points so instead of goining from the ground points to the toe of the wall it goes to the top of the wall and visa versa.
I am looking for help on using the SDK for Microstation.

I am using Microstation v8i version 08.11.09.459 on Windows 8.1.

I installed the MicrostationSDK version 08.11.09.460

I then installed Visual Studio 2005 Express (I got compatibility warnings when I installed this)

When I try to run the Bmake program on one of the sample MDLProjects I get the following error:

Attempting to build with VS 2005 but location is undefined!

I have run the mstndevvars.bat batch file as well as the vsvars32.bat

Does anyone know what I need to do or set to get this to work

Clip Volume Elevation

Help,

When I create a Clip Volume by polygon it places the elevation at some point that is way above where I am working (ex. Elevation=2718.5437). Is there something that needs to be set so that the Clip Volume is below my coordinate area or preferably at Elevation=0.00?
