Hello,

is it possible to snap conduit to center of node and have 3D conduit visualization cut to node wall?

I am working on OpenRoads Release 2 Update 8 - 10.08.01.33

Working unit OpenRoads Release 2 Update 8 - 10.08.01.33

There are atached 2 photos of a retention pond, where you will be able to see cut&fill issue.

3D Pond view with components, cut&fill volume.

After turn off grass layer (20cm) it looks like there is a gap in fill volume?

There is no component designed in missing fill volume area.

Is this an error or cut&fill is not developed enough, pond is not a big thing but 10 km of road?

I am worried about the fill volume calculation, could anyone explain it to me?.

Area of Shape/associative region in report by named boundary?

[ORD] Surface template and distance between points

While applying surface template to alternative surface created from linear template, defined distance from one point to another point (template origin) while modeling adds distance of two components that are between those points.

Is this a error or I do something wrong... pls help.

Point 1 (template origin)

point 2 (Parent "Point 1" constant distance)

point 3 (Parent "Point 2" constant distance)

Point 4 ( set vertical distance from parent "Point 1" (parametric constrains)

When I check the template everythink is ok, but in model Point 4 i pushed lower then set vertical value from parent "Point 1", by distance of 2 simple components that are inbetween Point 1 and Point 4.

What If...

Is there or will be possibility to add parametric constrains to surface template?

I mean, in template library I add parametric constrains, after applying it to alternative terrain model it does not work.

Is it possible, to add such a option?

Pond in OpenRoads CONNECT Edition release 3 Update 5 - Version 10.05.00.30

Hello,

Using OpenRoads CONNECT Edition I have evaluate pond and can`t measure the surface area, volume is calculated properly (calculated by Volumes -> Analyze Volume)

Steps to create pond:

- terrain model is as reference (active model)

- smart line (pond bottom) -> create complex shape -> open profile model (another view) -> Profile By Constant Elevation. -> Create 3D By Volume -> Create 3D By Slope To Target (active model).

After all those steps I have break lines in 3d, from those break lines I create pond surface ( Terrain, From Elements)

I try to use Civil Analysis -> Analyze Pond, and it gives me no result. dialog box show that there is no pond... . any other way to measure surface area?

Anyone tryied to model pond in OpenRoads CONNECT Edition? any video guide?

Hello,

I am trying to create report with XY of all vertex on linestring. In Reports tool I create report definition -> item types (linestring&lines) ->add column ( Properties -> segment-> segment.list.start & end)

Is there any possibility to create properties for vertex instead of start&end?

Because I need XY exported to xls in one line, start & end in separate columns do not do the job.
