The problem is how to modify the geometry of complex elements after they are created. For example, I may need to remove an arc or tangent. So far the only way I can find is to add or delete PI's using the table editor. This seems a rather cumbersome solution. In Civil 3D we can delete elements of an alignment using the alignment editing tools and it heals itself or at least stays intact and new elements added. Is there a more graphical way to edit the geometry? I am concerned that dropping the complex to individual pieces to make the edits would corrupt the corridor that was built on it.

In my process of experimenting my geometry got broken/corrupted so that arcs and tangents are no longer connected. I am at a loss as to how to fix it. I am posting the file if anyone is willing to have a look.

Also, when I apply annotations to my profile view, I have to set annotation scale to very high values such as 1:10,000. Why is there such a disparity between the plan annotations vs. profile?communities.bentley.com/.../8105.Geometry.dgn

How To Fix Bowties in OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition

Hi,

Does anyone know a quick solution to fix the Bowtie Error that happens around tight corners of a corridor? (image below)

- I know you can delete all the vertices, but it just goes back and re-draws if any edits are done to the corridor.

-I know you use a clipping reference to clip out the bowtie, and then generate new lines manually but that is very tedious.

Looks like Civil 3D solved this in 2018 so surely ORD 2021 must have a solution no?? Civil 3D 2018 New Feature: Clear Corridor Bowties - YouTube

Thanks in advance!

Aaron.
