Currently Design Office Manager for GEA Process Engineering New Zealand. We use various groups of software to design large industrial Evaporation and Dryer Process plants, predominantly for milk, in NZ.
We use Autocad for P&ID work with an inhouse designed database link system on top. Autodesk Inventor for process equipment design and detailing and Microstation Plantspace Piping and Bentley Navigator for our piping design and detailing as well as autopipe for stress analysis.
Before my work here at GEA where I have been for 7 years I worked in the UK for 6 years as a 3d modelling and visualisation consultant to Architecture practises in the UK. Firms such as Richard Rogers Partnership, Hopkins and Ian Ritchie Atchitects.
Also did a couple of years in the US as a Vehicle Design Engineer for a small company run by Jackie Stewart in the UK consulting to FORD.....long story behing that one.
