&lt;p&gt;i have these two models in which i have used pbrace command and truss command .. the model with truss command is passing the truss but in pbrace command and releases the model is not passing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;model specs:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. gable frame with free roof , opening from two sides (shown in figure below) . so there will be no girts ( no restraints), purlins on top ( restraints will be given )&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. designing a middle frame and i will replicate it when making a 3d model, but i have to get this 2d frame pass first.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;kindly check the parameters given in staad pro model. and give your opinion that why its not passsing in staad pro and passing in microstran.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;is there any way that i click the member and it shows the maximum forces and moment from the given given combos that for this particular member this combo gives the max force and moment..&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;they are only restraint in global y direction.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;can anyone help me&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;and also tell if i am using the correct for designing .&lt;/p&gt;
