I have a 3D survey file containing points with northing/easting and elevation data. I connected the midpoints between the survey points I was trying to get a centerline from and used the Import&gt;Geometry command to create a horizontal and vertical alignment from the selected linestring. This created an alignment with a bunch of PI points for my survey baseline. When I use the regression analysis tool to add horizontal regression points, I select the alignment created from the survey, but when I hit apply, no points are created or show up as a list of points in the edit/review horizontal regression points window. I have given the geometry file to another coworker and he can add points in the same manner just fine on his program. (He is using an earlier version of Inroads/Microstation).
