I have created annotation groups within this alignment file for each of the aforementioned scales. When I use the element annotation tool and check the override box it only shows the annotation groups within the .dgnlib associated with the file, not the other annotation groups created IN the file. The weird thing is I can change the annotation group of the feature symbology to the annotation groups created within the file, but this doesn't solve the problem as it will default all the models to this annotation group.

Is there another way to override which annotation group you want to use, or is there a way I can get the override annotation group to read from the file?

ORD Table Preserve Formatting Not Working

When inputting a table using the Place Table command, linking an excel sheet, picking a manual range, and then preserving the formatting, the table formatting is not preserved. I will note that the only feature that it is not preserving is the row height. In the table in question there are skinny rows, all rows become the same size, the column width is preserved, and the color of cells is preserved. Is there something I am missing or is the ORD Place Table command meant to keep the row heights the same as provided in Excel?

OpenRoads (+ProjectWise) Text Substitution

Hi,

I am using OpenRoads Designer CONNECT (2020 Release 3) alongside with ProjectWise. I am trying to automatically populate multiple fields from a border reference file. This border is referenced into each sheet, where the fields will have different information populating per sheet. Is there a way that each sheet can be populated with information tied to that sheet using the same field from the border? For example: "$DRAWN$" would be a field and this field will be populated with different names depending on what sheet it is on. Is there a way to do this through linking an Excel sheet (and without using Item Types as this is not automatic and would have to be done per sheet, defeating the purpose). Any help would be much appreciated.

Ask A Question I

Ask a question in a forum.
