I am having a issue with a simple cylinder. As you will see in sketch below, there is a blue and red cylinder end. The blue one was drawn randomly and then in it's properties the end points on either side were modified to the required coordinates. For the Red one I drew a line with the required coordinates and then drew a cylinder using the line as a guide. The Red one is the correct version where the circular flat face end is 90 deg to the rounded side. The Blue one which as stated was moved into position by it's coordinate properties does not seem to represent the flat face correctly whereby the angle on one side might be something like 85 deg and opposite side might be something like 95 deg. is there a method or setting to change this so that if I drew a cylinder randomly then input it's coordinates it would appear as the red one?

I have also created some Variables to calculate the angle (X). When (C) is at a higher point to (A-B), (X) will be a positive value. I have no issues adjusting for triangle ABC by inputting Lengths. When you specify a height below (A-B) at (D), I am able to calculate (X) which is a negative angle. My Question though is how to get the triangle to show triangle ABD, as the moment (X) is negative it doesn't update the geometry to reflect. All it shows is the last configuration set for triangle ABC. In other word, (A-C) becomes (A-D) and (B-C) becomes (B-D).

In the future I might need to modify the End as an example to say X:24 Y:278 Z:987 or I might have actually moved the End points to this location and it now gives me these values.

My question without copy paste is how to show these coordinates in a schedule, which should automatically update whether I move geometry or update via the properties.

I have opened this model in Microstation (V8 DGN) part of the model is showing a solid and another part appears to be wire frame. How can I view the wireframe part as a solid. Please spell it out as I am not familiar with Microstation and do not quite follow the way the program works as new to using Microstation. What we are considering doing which might resolve is upgrading the license to Aecosim. Would this resolve or is there steps to view the model in Microstation.
Note 1: When selecting the wireframe part it appears to select the whole wire frame as though it were a solid
Note 2: I am unable to screenshot or share file due to contract confidentiality

Custom line type ends

I've see some line types with custom ends different from the rest of the line type ie - - - - - - - - - @ where the "@" would be different from the rest of the line type none repeating. How is this achieved.
