It would be nice if when I search for specific topics about GEOPAK I don't see all the questions/responses for other products, like InRoads. I have found it more and more difficult to find what I am looking for. The changes over the last few years to the Bentley Communities may be great for the young, techno savvy person but I find it extremely frustrating and getting more difficult to use.

Geopak SS4 and Windows 10

A new coworker has Windows 10 on his PC and is having issues running MicroStation SS3 and Geopak SS4. He doesn't have the same config variables as I do (Windows 7). When he opens the Project Explorer, the only two tab options are Links and File. None of the other tabs show up under Settings>Project Explorer so he can't toggle on the Civil Standards, Civil Model, or Survey tabs. I don't believe he has all the functionality under the Civil Tools tasks that I have either. Is this an issue with Windows 10 or are we missing something in the install?

Error message: Unable to open seed file: seed.dwg

I am using MicroStation SS3 version 081109714 and Geopak version 081109845. When I try to save a DGN file as a DWG (either with Export or Save As), I get an error message: "Unable to open seed file: seed.dwg" I know the seed.dwg file exists and I've checked my preferences and settings and they seem to be pointing to the folder the seed.dwg resides in. Any ideas why I can't export to a DWG?

Unable to move referenced Default-3D model

In Civil Suite, MicroStation automatically creates and attaches the Default-3D model to the Default model. I would like to be able to move the referenced Default-3D model but that reference tool is grayed out, as are some of the other reference tools.

XFM Features in Microstation

I am using MicroStation V8i 08.11.09.608. I recently updated the linework in a DGN file and referenced it into another DGN file. For some reason, it identifies the reference file elements as XFM features, which they are not. The elements in the referenced file were not created using Bentley Map and when I open the original DGN file, they are identified as MicroStation elements. Why are these elements changing from a MicroStation element to an XFM feature? Is there some setting somewhere I'm not aware of that I need to change? I have several other files referenced and none of them have this issue.
