I am a masterstudent in Construction engineering and currently working on my thesis.

I am trying to make a Plaxis 2D (2010) model for a soilmix-element with a load-bearing capacity.
During the calculation I get the following comment: 'Load advancement procedure fails. [103]'

Is there anyone who can help me with solving this issue?

I am modelling two identical soilmix-structures, one as a plate and the other one as a soil.

When comparing them, the one moddeled as a plate has a maximum displacement that is twice as big as the displacement of the one modelled as a soil.

Does anyone know if the reason for this difference is because Plaxis has a different way of calculating a plate and a soil structure?

Thanks!

Ask A Question I

Ask a question in a forum.

Discussion Starter I

Start a discussion in a forum that receives 5 replies.

How can I solve the following issue: 'Not enough load steps [102]' ?

Hi,
