Re-Associating a Label After Copying From a Reference

Hello,

I am currently trying to find a way to re-associate a label after copying from an existing file. For example: I have two files in the same project that overlap in different places. I have a label in the referenced file that I would like to copy over to the new file. After copying I lose the association and information. Is there a way to re-associate this label?

Note: they use the same alignment.
