Locking a DGN file

I need to lock a dgn file so that no one can open the file to make changes to it without my knowledge. I know you can password protect the file but i want to still be able to reference the file. I tried password protecting the file but when i open a file that has the locked file reference into it, it now asks for the password which defeats the whole purpose of locking the file. I still want to use the file as a reference but don't want anyone to make change to that file.

Is there a way to lock the file but still be able to use it as a reference file? This is in SS10

Station, Offset & Elevation report in GEOPAK SS4

Is there any documentation on how to use this report in GEOPAK SS4? I want to be able to report, at an even 25' interval, the Station, Offset and Proposed Elevation along the roadway corridor. Can anyone provide me with some information on how to create such a report?

Modeling ADA sidewalk ramps

Has anyone come up with a good way to clip linear templates at an intersection with another linear template/civil cell?

This is a screen capture of an ADA sidewalk Ramp with the intersection of a minor cross-road. I would like to be able to clean this up so that the model is correct.

Any ideas as to how to accomplish this?

Open Roads, Project Profile to element

I need to project a profile created from a proposed model onto another alignment. I assume that the vertical alignment tool "Project Profile to Element" is the tool to use? I can't seem to get this tool to do anything. I've got a mill and resurface project where we are adding curb and gutter to one side of the road. I've created a proposed model to do this from an alignment with a vertical offset profile. After I created the model, I used the plan by 3D element tool to create a 3D alignment of the edge of shoulder where the new Curb and Gutter will be placed. I want to project this profile onto the centerline alignment profile so I can check the grades for drainage. Maybe I'm missing a step, but I can't get anything to display when I try to do this. Has anyone else been able to do this? Maybe there is a better way to do this? Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks Brad

auto export and auto annotate in GEOAPK SS3

Is there a way to set the auto export and auto Annotate to false as default or do you have to mannually set it in each file?
