I have worked in the CADD industry for over 25 years. I spent the first 8 as a drafter, second 8 as a developer and then another 6 as a IT CADD Manager. Currently I am working as second tier support and development for MicroStation and powerGeopak, and as a Projectwise Administrator.
I have worked for the Oil and Gas exploration industry, Local government, GIS conversion, Cartographic Publishing, Telecomm, and the Civil Engineering industry. My first "love" is definitely Cartography, but I have enjoyed my time as an applications and development programmer as well.
I currently work for the state of Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supporting the Michigan Department of Transportation as a MicroStation Developer/Support Specialist and ProjectWise Administrator.
- Right now I am most active with the configuration and maintenance of ProjectWise. I am also active with SQL, MVBA, MDL, Powershell, and C#, doing development with MicroStation, Geopak and ProjectWise .
