All the icon does is provide the following message in the element information if it is selected,

"Changing the feature definition changed the shape of the pipe."

Since this was my intent and the icon wasn't causing any harm I moved on. Now I am trying to clear this file so I can use it as a base for my new seed file. I have deleted all the elements that this icon was associated with as well as everything else in the file but I can't get rid of these little message icons. Does anyone know what these are and how I can remove them? See the images below for the icon and error message.

I am trying convert our 2D background information into a 3D SUE model and then as I receive the daylighting results adjust my model.

I am able to use the extract utilities from graphics tool to generate the original model. From what I have seen in tutorials I should be able to select the conduit or node that I have created and either use the manipulator tools to adjust its location or the manipulators shown at the ends in the view. For some reason I do not have any manipulators in the view and none of my manipulator tools (move, copy, rotate, etc.) have any effect on the element. The only way I can edit it is through the limited options in the element information.

At first I assumed that this must have been a result of the extract from graphic function but I have the same problem even if I place two standard nodes randomly and place a conduit between them. I also thought it might be the result of the feature definitions I created, using the generic feature definition also seems to have no effect.

Please let me know if there is a setting or something that needs to be adjusted to allow for this manipulation and let me know if you have any thoughts on an easier way to do this process.

Thank you

Adjusting the grade of a line

Hi, I'm looking to adjust the grade of a line placed in microstation using the element information. Currently I am adjusting the z coordinate at the start and finish to achieve this but I'm looking to just type in the angle I need and the start elevation and let microstation do the math for me. I assume that the elevation angle tab is what I need to adjust but it is greyed out and I cannot change it. What do I need to change in my settings to activate this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you
