I'm working with ORD Connect Version 10.09.00.91

This is my first project in ORD Connect as well as using the drainage and utilities model.

My problem is that some of my proposed pipes show up in plan view while others do not. All pipes show in conduits under Drainage and Utilities Model in project explorer. I can click on the conduit in explorer and I see the ends light up in plan view but there is no pipe shown. I have created profile runs for all networks and in profile view all of my pipes show up. It's just in plan view that some are missing.

I'm pretty sure I have the newest update but I must be doing something wrong. I had this problem early on when trying to change the name of some structure nodes using utility properties. The nodes would disappear. I've just been inserting new nodes if a name changes. This is taking a lot longer than expected.

profile not writing to the .gpk

Hello, I am working in geopak ss4. My proposed profiles are not writing the .gpk file and I can't figure out why. I have tried the export to native button and have also tried recreating my vertical profiles but no luck. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

I'm using Geopak SS4 and after loading the tin file and setting the height of eye and height of object, I am getting different results between this tool and just cutting a quick profile along the line of sight.

Eye position is Drape on TIN

Visibility type is set to line of sight

Object Visibility is also set to Drape on TIN.

The Visibility DTM tool shows gaps in the line of sight line that are obstructed or not visible and my quick profile check shows no obstructions at all. Is there a scaling issue with the DTM tool maybe?

What am I missing? How does the DTM tool work?

I know the results are only as accurate as my tin file is, but in this case I'm using the same tin file for both the tool and the quick profile check.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

displaying ROW or EOP lines in dynamic cross sections

I'm working in GeoPAK SS4. I'm setting and checking a best fit alignment and would like to see the edge of pavement lines in my dynamic cross sections. I've been searching the forums for at least a day and still can't get it to work.

I created a plan graphics file and copied all of the EOP lines into. I then used the general geometry tool - Set Feature Definition to assign all of the lines a feature E_Trvl_HMA_Edge and a name 223_RT_1, 2, 3, ...etc. I referenced the terrain and set the existing profile of the lines to active.

Then I hop into my corridor file, reference in this plan graphics file and use the corridor modeling tool add corridor reference and select all of my feature lines.

Am I missing something? A coworker suggested adding a null point but still nothing shows up in the dynamic cross sections.

Still fairly new at modeling. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
