Hello all,

I am hunting for a list of AGS Geology "Legend" codes.

There doesn't seem to be one I can download/review outside of the gINT or Holebase.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

PLAXIS 3D stiffnesses of tunnel plates

Hello Forum.

I am modelling a buried structure as a tunnel in PLAXIS 3D. The tunnel is composed of plates and I am unsure how to input the stiffness of the plates into PLAXIS. The E1 and E2 inputs are define as first and second axial directions in the manuals. How do these relate to the stiffness of the tunnel segments and the tunnel flexibility (I suppose the stiffness of the tunnel as a whole).

Please help when you can.

Big Model, small object of focus

Hello all.

I am producing a model upto 100m to 350m deep, with a 2.5m long pile / anchor polygon buried between 5m and 300m depth.

In producing the mesh, even when very fine, the mesh generated is around 30cm between the nodes.

Is there any way to improve the frequency of the nodes along the length of the 2.5m anchor?
