I am new to AECOsim. After years of using of Microstation I assume that it is a natural step forward, which sooner or later we all must make. It is not easy. I installed it on my laptop. The native resolution of my desktop is 3200x1800 on a 15" screen. It is first of my problems. Some or a lot of the names of the icons, commands, symbols are hardly readable. Some of the buttons in openable menus appear over the content and are "hard" to be pressed. I have already played with preferences without success.

It probably cannot be fixed just like that but I would be grateful if anyone knows a solution for this. Changing the resolution does not help.

with best regards

Wojtek

Files opened from one particular machine are not recognised as used over the network. Server allows another machine to open it for editing. This ruins the file. It only happens with .dgn files, does not refer to MS office file used on this machine. Then others know that the file is opened by this particular user.

It all strted when we "moved" to a new server. It could only be a coincidence. Other computers works great, as well as friends laptop which I borrowed for testing. Everything works great axcept this one machine.

I have already reinstalled Windows 7, Microstation (the latest release), got a new network card, chacked all cabels.
Have anyone of you ever expirienced anythng like this? I will appreciate any ideas, hints.

Regards
Wojtek
