Project Insights automates your reporting of design project performance, enabling more informed and proactive decision making with regular access to analytics and trends. With insight into project performance drivers, you can identify problems sooner and more effectively monitor best practices to save time, reduce risk, and deliver high-quality designs.

The traditional process of manual, time-consuming reporting typically provides a narrow and backward-looking status snapshot. Project Insights’ automated reports and analytics enable you to harvest, combine, and analyze data about the evolving contents of your project’s connected data environment, as well as the status of design workflows. Project leaders, stakeholders, and participants will have access to dashboards with immediately actionable insights for improved project collaboration and efficiency.

Project Insights allows you to expose rich data in simple, always up-to-date dashboards. Leverage the full capabilities of PowerBI Desktop with the Project Insights Connector for PowerBI to tailor these dashboards to fit your unique needs. Deliver your specific insights to track and manage individual design disciplines and the overall design project.

Element Count using mdlLevel_getElementCount(lCount, ActiveModelReference.MdlModelRefP, oLevel.ID) with Connect Edition

We used to be able to use mdlLevel_getElementCount(lCount, ActiveModelReference.MdlModelRefP, oLevel.ID) to get an element count of a level in V8i, it seems to have stopped working in connect? it errors on MdlModelRefP with a type mismatch

[CONNECT] Disable Workset Verification

Hello everybody,

in our organization we work in a workspace/workset configuration within our cad operators have to load/open different dgn files not assigned to any worksets.

Is there an environment variable/method/function im CONNECT to suppress the workset verification? Because the dgn files were manipulated from different worksets. An assignment to only one workset isn't practical.

I moved the dgn files to directories the variables MS_WORKSETMISMATCH_ALERT_EXCLUDE_* are pointing to but at all times the workset alert message appers.

best regards

Outside of microstation (i.e. in excel) I check the settings and highlight any required changes. A second macro is then used to implement any necessary changes back into the drawing. This part is working successfully and the changes are made, and amended setttings are evident in the active view and in the level manager etc. However the changes are not saved when the drawing is closed, despite liberal use of 'levels.rewrite' and 'RewriteLevels' in the updating macro. All the required changes can be implemented manually, and persist when the drawing is saved. Although I have found similar problems discussed, for what would seem to be a common task, and tried various suggestions, the problem persists. I would welcome any suggestions as what I might have missed. Thanks.

ProjectWise Integration Module for Revit 2021 Now Available

ProjectWise Integration Module for Revit 2021.1 is now available for download:
