I began my career in 1983. I began working for a company that wrote its own CAD program and sold it with a turnkey hardware system. In 1985 I relocated to Columbus, Ohio and began work with a company that used the Intergraph CAD System (IGDS). In 1987 I went to work for another company using Autodesk's AutoCAD software. I worked with both AutoCAD and Microstation there until I left in 1996. I spent one year working with my parents in their print shop to help them prepare for retirement. After I finished, I went to Honda R&D in Raymond, Ohio using the Microstation software again. I worked in the Facilities Department, designing the preliminary layouts for the campus expansions, for buildings, parking lots and the automotive test cells. I also helped with the development of the crash test facility. In 2007 I left Honda and began my current employment with Salas O'Brien (formally Varo Engineers, Inc.) in Dublin, Ohio. I am a Senior Designer, Electrical/CAD technician. I develop the cad system environments for our clients, and designs for projects. Beginning in December of 2014 I began working on the development of Substation design.
