This is Ganesh, currently i am working in a Urban drainage project.

I am using EPASWMM Runoff method in which i am facing issue in one catchment(refer below properties in image). Actual Width of this catchment is 349 meters but the model is not simulating with this value. If we are going with lesser catchment width value, then the model is simulating results. what could be the possible reason for this, please check and revert back.

Case 1:

The total reported system outflow volume in the calculation summary is not matching the summation of the volume out at the outfalls as marked in the screenshot below

Case2:

The Statistic "Sum" Volume (total runoff) is not equal to the total runoff for the whole catchments (when I copy to excel and do summation), also comparing to the total Inflow in the calculation summary.

From Statistic and calculation summary = 9,927.7 m3

From Excel = 9936.8 m3

The model is uploaded to the secured link, please check scenario "DM 10YR 1440MIN"

We are working on Urban drainage design using SewerGEMS latest version of 10.03.04.53 with Explicit solver & EPASWMM runoff method.
In which the catchment characteristic width & slope are inputs to the model (shown in below screenshot). Is there any possibility to calculate the Catchment characteristic width & slope in SewerGEMS.
Could you please explain about these inputs and how it facilitates the runoff flow & volume.

As understand from the below link, Bently SWMM engine calculates the Inlet capture efficiency first and then flow captured will be calculated.

https://communities.bentley.com/products/hydraulics___hydrology/f/haestad-hydraulics-and-hydrology-forum/200180/on-grade-inlet-with-swmm/597699#597699

We are working on storm Inlet modelling, need to understand the Inlet capture efficiency.

Could any one please explain to understand more on this?

regards

Is there a way to do clashing analysis in the software? what is the recommended one? I know I can export to i-model and see the clash, but it is better if doing changes with run the hydraulics and solve the issues with cretin criteria .
