I would like to ask if, and if yes, how, is it possible to model acceleration due to land transportation in Staad.Pro model?

I would like to be able to apply an acceleration value at the COG of the structure and have it applied to all the Dead Loads.

The structure I am working on would be transported on land and I would like to apply accelerations due to speed changes, turning, emergency braking, wind. This is not an offshore structure, only an onshore module that should be transported by the road.

I know this feature was possible in Staad Offshore, but since that software is no longer supported by Bentley, I am looking for ways of doing in in Staad.Pro.

I will appreciate your tips. Thank you.

Ask A Question I

Ask a question in a forum.
