&lt;p&gt;I am designing a large frame with two monorails underhung. It is underhung in 4 places, the 3rd location is hung by W6x9 hangers. There is a force being applied directly to the bottom node of these hangers but there is little to no force being generated through the hanger as one would expect...... Is my model bugged?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am using the control/dependent specification to create rigid links between the beams, where I have defined node 405 as the control and node 384 as the dependent. Respectively, I have defined node 384 as the control and 363 as the dependent.&lt;/p&gt;

Every time I save my model and reopen them the members that I had beta angles assigned to no longer have them assigned as well as the angle that I specified in the properties tab no longer exists. &lt;p&gt;Please help. I am a new E.I.T. and I do not have alot of staad knowledge. I really need help with this project that has now taken me over 3 months to model. I need to model a grillage beam system with concrete pockets. There will be a 1/4&amp;quot; plate between the horizontal beams the beams above but I dont know how to model that. I get 1001 errors when I try to run my model and Noone in my office can help me.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If this is not possible to model in staad please let me know so I can go back to my supervisor.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I want to know if it is possible to have a plate overhang my beams. The overhang will be 0.3m in the Z direction on both sides. I have tried everything I can think of but I cannot illustrate the plate accurately. When I try to mesh one large plate I receive multiple errors that tell me my plate connection is incorrect and that my loads will not transfer properly. I tried to section off my plate in 3 separate parts but then it does not act has a continuous plate and again, I receive inaccurate results. Can someone help?&lt;/p&gt;
