New GDA2020 Geocoordinate Systems in CE - how does it work?

Hi,

Can someone explain how the newly added Projected Australian GDA2020 GCS works in Microstation CE U11?

We have the old GDA94 GCS group, a new GDA94-7P (7 Parameter Transformation to 2020), GDA94/GSB (GDA94 to 2020 using Grid Shift files) and a plain GDA2020 GCS group. If I reproject the data from the old GDA94 to the GDA-7P or GDA95/GSB GCS settings my data moves as expected, however nothing happens if I go from the old GDA94 to the new GDA2020.

How is this supposed to work?

Nearmap to MicroStation (Jpg)

Hi,

I have a jpg nearmap export in US survey feet with a jgw file. When I attach the file the coordinates are slightly off from the jgw file. I've tried toggling all the settings to see if anything would work but no luck. This is specifically EPSG 2278. What would be causing the shift in the coordinates?

Iam unable to select and hatch multiple elements at once unless i have Use Symbology ticked on.

After undoing something, iam unable to redo it and it says in the notification centre nothing has been undone.

snap to text functionality using nearest snap no longer available.

this has reduced the functionality of snapping to text.

CONNECT Edition - Update 10 Snap to Line Style Issue

Snapping to linestyles (left origin, right origin or centre) seems to no longer work.

Microstation CONNECT Edition 10

A few issue i have come across in my short time using CONNECT.

1.) Trim to Element tool - Ctrl to initiate selection does not work.

2.) Raster & reference display issues when zooming in and out - raster and references disappear at certain levels of zooming in and out.

3.) Print dialog does not recognise plotter with same driver used for v8i edition.

Workspaces on different drives on a network

Hello,

Iam wanting to create a second Microstation workspace located on a different drive on a network.

Essentialy when i open Microstation i want to be able to choose one of the two projects located on different drives from the open dialog.

Iam using Microstatio V8i SS3 08.11.09.714

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
