I am a water distribution system designer and analyst for a small firm in Oregon. My background is in fairly general purpose water resources and optimization theory, and I am fairly new to Bentley's WaterCAD (no GEMS for us). My company provides services to small municipalities, and provides a variety of services to them. I'm new to the company, and its main modeler. Programming wise, I have extensive experience with VBA and Matlab, and less experience with Python and Java, though I can stumble my way through most work in the latter two. I suppose this doesn't really make me much of a programmer in a purist sense, but it certainly provides me with a lot of options for most programs I encounter.
