PG&E's Technology Strategy and Solutions department is focused on the entire technology selection and implementation process. Areas include technology project intake, project management, project deployment, and project support. The Engineering Design and Estimating Technology Department is responsible for technology strategy, solution & implementation. Angela focuses on project management, project deployment, and project support for Estimating technology, work management systems, CAD systems, GIS systems, and asset management systems. Works with Gas Operations (Engineering, Service Planning, Construction, Planning, Project Management and Integrity Management) to develop Business Process Requirements. In this position Angela is also responsible for working with PG&E Information Technology (IT) in documenting and in some cases enhancing Business Processes & Functional Requirements. As Business Systems Specialist, Angela participates in deployment activities: Training, Materials Development & Testing & Post-deployment support. Works with Gas Operations stakeholders to resolve technical issues, capture system enhancements and initiate post deployment improvements. Angela provides: Technology Leadership: Provides vision and direction, Set expectations and priorities and communicate system functionality and standard use. Customer Satisfaction/Communication: Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded. View all processes and potential improvements through the customer's eyes in order to meet our goal of improving customer satisfaction. Operational Excellence/Compliance: Ensure that excellence is the standard, by which all work within the organization, is evaluated. Ensure that the system meets established goals with a high quality product. Improves performance and transparency. Teamwork/Employee Development: Partner with engineering departments, employees, union representatives, peers, other departments, and agencies to improve the overall business results for PG&E.

Key Qualifications
Angela has over 25 years of experience using AutoCAD and MicroStation in production/ design environments and manufacturing. She has worked as both a manual drafter and CADD operator/technician, and as CADD manager in a variety of disciplines and projects. As project production manager, she supervises technical staff members with a variety of experience levels. She is responsible for ProjectWise set-up and implementation, FTP coordination, data control, management of on-line files and archival, on a project specific basis. Angela has provided input into the coordination of California High Speed Rail Project Standards, WSDOT and SDOT Standards for the Alaskan Way Viaduct Project in Seattle, Washington; and was key in the the coordination between agencies & disciplines to create project specific standards. She has provided MicroStation and AutoCAD support and training for users at all levels. Angela possesses refined skills in project coordination of production materials to produce client specific plans. A strong contributor to the CADD community through her service via the organization and distrbution of Corporate CADD Newsletter and participation in Corporate CADD Steering Committees. She employs excellent communication skills between engineering and technical staff to create a team approach that exemplifies her commitment to quality service and the CADD community's desired encouragement of Participate-Communicate- Educate.

Prior to joining Hatch Mott MacDonald, Angela worked with many of the top ten engineering and for architectural firms. She has supported small firms as a consultant in the areas of civil engineering, architecture and design. Angela worked as a consultant in the planning and layout of furniture systems and specifications, provided program planning for real-estate lease / acquisitions, space design and future use projections and presentation materials.
