I have a saved ACS created in MicroStation planxx shown below.

X=3635.377, Y=3014.923, Z=4997.968

I imported ACS planxx into Prostructures shown below XYZ values jumped to 2 decimal places.

Working units in MS and PS are both in mm. Template / seed files used are the delivered seed files.

Does anybody know why this is happening and how to fix it? So that the ACS saved in any program can be used vice versa.

We had no issue with Aecosim and Prosteel V8i.

3D line styles

Microstation Connect Update 9.

Can somebody from Bentley please confirm this as a defect and correct it or identify another (easy) way around drop status on tile text and callouts.

I'm having an issue intermittently for the last few versions in Microstation CE (and Power Platform products like OpenRoads Designer) where Global Display of levels doesn't turn levels on/off and does some strange things (see attached video). It happens very randomly and doesn't fix itself up by restarting the session, etc. View Display and Global Freeze work perfectly so i'm not too sure whats happening.

Anyone seen this before? Any ideas how I can resolve it - its driving me crazy!

I have a drawing with multiple saved views on the sheet view, each with differing level display settings (ON or OFF) for the references that make up the drawing.

With these all set up correctly in the level Display dialog box, I save the drawing (and the settings, just to be sure!) and close the drawing. However, when I next go back into the drawing, whilst all other edits have been saved correctly, as you'd expect, the level display is completely different, with most references now set to Display OFF and shown grey in the Level Display dialog box. It is easy enough to restore, but a waste of time and a worry if someone else opens the drawing and is unaware of this problem.

Has anybody else seen this issue and, if so, how did you resolve it?

You can set multiple clip planes to very quickly clip a large model down to a smaller volume. This is far quicker than stuffing around with the silly handles particularly with large models where the handles can be a long way away from the area of interest. Prosteel kind of already has this but it has not changed since the pre Bentley days.

parametric plates with curves

I have a project with a lot of plates that have multiple arcs, curves and tangents.

Create plates using polygon shape works really well for creating the plates.

But if you try to modify a side or a vertex using the grips the points that were created as tangents are no longer tangent points.

It is usually easier to delete the plate and start again using the original polyline.

It would be nice if there was an option for the plate to retain a logical link to the original poly shape.

I guess it is silimar to how microstation parametric solids work.

Connect update 3 I models

Do I models work with full ps properties in the latest update 3?
