I am not quite familiar with the ribbon interface on ORD, so I want to change back to side toolbar just like what Power Civil looks. See below picture. Some of our customers have the same question.

I searched similar questions, and found that V8i style Tasks could be displayed in MicroStation CONNECT Edition using the configuration variable MS TASKNAVIGATION CONFIGURATION.

The website is: https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/24481/how-to-display-the-v8i-style-tasks-dialog-in-microstation-connect-edition

And I tried this method on ORD but it did not work. Maybe there is other configuration variable that we could change in order to solve this problem?

Thank you for your help!

Bing Map issue in openRoads

ORD is getting crashed after few seconds of turning on bing map.

When loading Civtools Microstation freezes. If you create a rendition within the Explorer client, the rendition will not show the most recent changes made, and display old reference data. When I create a plot through interplot organizer, the rendition comes out correctly, and displays the most recent changes made to its references. Any help would be much appreciated.
Does anyone know a quick solution to fix the Bowtie Error that happens around tight corners of a corridor? (image below)

- I know you can delete all the vertices, but it just goes back and re-draws if any edits are done to the corridor.

-I know you use a clipping reference to clip out the bowtie, and then generate new lines manually but that is very tedious.

Basically, I have a site modeled with a bunch of 2D Geometry in the Default Model including active profiles, which in turn show up in the Default 3D Model. I have also used the 3D elements to create a Terrain. I've now decided that I want this site to be in a different file which also has a small site created already. Is there a way to bring "Everything" in from the one file to the other file without losing its 2D/3D connection? If I reference the file I intend to copy into the other file, everything shows up correct. (2D in the 2D model & 3D in the Default 3D model) but if I do a "merge to master" it just strips all the 2D stuff down to regular Microstation entities (including the construction lines) and all the 3D from the reference file disappears.

Updated right-click options in Sheet Index and Project Explorer to include all available options.

Integrated the Downgrade Civil Model tool with ProjectWise.

Drawing Production and Annotation Enhancements

Enhanced the Text Favorite Manager to be the single source for the creating, editing and managing text favorites, including Survey, Drainage & Utilities.

Enabled the annotation of Survey and D&U crossing features in cross sections.

Enhanced both the Element Annotation and Drawing Model Annotation tools with an option to use “Override Annotation Group”.

Added a new Civil Labeler tool.

Added the ability to create cross section sheets from existing cross section drawing models.

Added a new Cross Section Navigator tool.

Enhanced drawing production options to allow for the separate naming of Views, Drawing Models and Sheet Models.

Added a new reference option (Synchronize View > Settings from Design Model) allowing the levels and view options displayed in sheet models to be controlled from a container file.

Drainage and Utilities Enhancements

Profile runs can now show the conduits that connect to a node, that are not part of the profile run.

Annotation of multiple conduits in cross section drawings can be automated using an Annotation Filter, which now lets you select conduit feature definitions.

The Extract Utilities from Graphics command now lets you select a feature definition for nodes, as well as conduits.

You can now import and export a Utilities submodel, as well as a Drainage submodel using a .sqlite file.

Item Types Enhancements

Added the ability to define pick lists in an excel file.

Added the ability to define multiple Item Types per Feature Definition.

Added the ability to define default values for each Item Type property per Feature Definition.

Added synchronization of Item Types between 2D, 3D, and profile models. The synchronized Item Type can be viewed and modified from any of the three views/models.
