"Place Horizontal Temporary Dimension" and "Place Vertical Temporary Dimension" in the cross section view

I am experiencing challenges with "Place Horizontal Temporary Dimension" and "Place Vertical Temporary Dimension" in the cross section view. I can activate the commands but upon the prompt to "Select Cross Section View" I cannot get OpenSite/OpenRoads to recognize the view regardless of where I click in the cross section view.

Does anyone have experience resolving this issue?

Building Footprint - Finished Floor Elevation and Building Pad Height

How does the relationship between Finished Floor Elevation and Building Pad Height work? In the Properties, I set my building pad elevation at 1060.00 and the finished floor elevation is displaying at 1051.876 which is lower than the building pad elevation. I need to gain a better understanding of to establish the Finished Floor Elevation or adjust the Building Pad Elevation. I cannot adjust the Finished Floor Elevation in the Properties Box.

Dynamic Cross Section View

I would like to view the elevation of the flow line of the curb-line gutters as I go through the cross sections in the Dynamic Cross Section Viewer. Is there a way to accomplish this?

ORD - Remove feature definition from line

Is there a way to remove feature definition from lines or arcs? I have added feature definition to normal Microstation lines to used them in corridor but now I would like to remove the feature definition from them. Or at least drop them but every time I drop them they disapear from the drawing. Is this a normal behavior?

Also is there a way to just drop civil offset line to normal microstation line without feature definition?

Profile station elevation tracking

In OpenRoads or OpenSite Designer, is there a tool to track the station and elevation as I graphically move my cursor through the profile? If there is a method to track the station and offset, can I click and display text showing the station and offset for a particular point?

What does the grading surface depth control?

In the Properties Box, Grading section (for some site features such as "Building Footprint") what does the "Surface Depth" control? Is this the additional use defined depth below the pad or feature used by OpenSite and OpenRoads to calculate earthwork?
