I have ran into a print organizer issue I havnt been able to solve yet. We have a 3D reality mesh from a Projectwise web connection that is referenced in as background for our 2d plots. When I use the print dialog it prints fine with the model showing up as an image but when I use the print organizer to print the model doesnt show up. I have set the print settings to be the same between the two different ways and tried many other combinations, including rasterized, in the print organizer properties window but haven't gotten it to work properly. Any insight would be appreciated.

Example From Print Dialog:

/resized-image/__size/500x291/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/19568/83671.Capture.PNG

Example From Print Organizer:

/resized-image/__size/500x750/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/19568/Capture2.PNG

Print Configuration File:

/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/19568/PDF_5F00_ss3v8i_5F00_pdf_5F00_Mndot.pltcfg

Thanks! Brad E.

After playing around with it for a bit, the code recorder seems very limited to what you can do with it. One program that I would like to record and run would be to have:

1. Geopak cut cross sections, load in our standard preferences,

2. Annotate those cross sections using our standard annotation styles.

3. Export those cross sections to another sheet.

4. Cut cross section sheet views from the exported cross sections.

I understand that 3 and 4 will be the most difficult but 1 and 2 should be straight forward since it is mainly settings and preferences. That being said,

1. I am curious if writing/recording such a program is even possible with VBA? Or is there another language that I should use instead?

2. I saw that Geopak also has a BASIC recorder, is that a better option than VBA?

3. Also, I have also read in the forums that C# and C++ coding are the direction that Open Roads is going, thus would it even make sense to start writing VBA or BASIC?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Geopak Version 08.11.09.904 (per client specifications)

Thanks,

I am currently running Geopak Version 08.11.09.904 and my coworker is running 08.11.09.845. I was working on a corridor model and switched projects for a week or so then when I came back to open my model I get the Newer Civil Data Found error which I am aware can be caused by opening a file with OpenRoads but that has not been done. We do not have OpenRoads. Another catch is that my coworker can open the model and not get the error message at all. It runs properly and the model can be edited. We have tried doing a "Save As" of the file, purging most of the references from the drawing and even repairing and reinstalling .904 but still get the error. We are both puzzled by this and are looking for guidance. Thanks!
